In January 2013, as part of the migration plan to P25, Harris Corporation released the End of Life list of older model radios to the Brevard Users, informing user agencies when to expect limited replacement equipment and the end of manufacturer's capabilities to offer either maintenance or service support for these radios. Based on such a matrix, Brevard County recommends all county and local agencies to start their migration to the digital era, as a planned budgetary process.
