In the Spotlight at Brevard County GIS Maps and Apps

We are proud to announce Lixin Huang from the Board of County Commissioner's Information Technology Department and Lauren Scott Griffin from Esri did a crash case study on crash data in Brevard County. The case study did the spatial and temporal analyses of crash data. A story map was created to outline the case study The study begins with a simple space-time trend analysis and displays the results in 3D. The workflow is then refined to analyze traffic accidents using the underlying road network. Finally, the analysis considers temporal cycles such as the work week afternoon commute.
