Brevard Parks and Rec. Announces Summer Break Spot Program Meals



Brevard County, FL. - The Brevard County Parks and Recreation Department will participate in the Summer Break Spot Program beginning Monday, June 7th, and running through Friday, August 6th, 2021.

During summer vacation when school breakfasts and lunches are not available, nutritionally balanced meals will be provided to all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.

Any child age 18 or younger can receive a meal; please see sites below for meal times.

Meals will be served on a first-come, first-serve basis; child must be present to receive food. Children may consume the meal at the site or take it with them. At lunchtime, on Fridays, children can receive a shelf stable weekend meal to take home, along with their lunch meal.

Meals are served Monday – Friday throughout the dates indicated. No meal service on Monday, 5th of July.
