D1 Commissioner Encourages Residents to Apply for Open County Advisory Board Positions

BREVARD COUNTY, FL. — Brevard County District 1 Commissioner Katie Delaney encourages North Brevard residents to get involved in local government by applying for open volunteer positions on several important County boards and committees.

Current openings include:
• Audit Committee
• Contractors Licensing Board (Roofing, Fire Safety)
• Investment Committee
• North Brevard Public Library Advisory Board
• North Brevard County Hospital District Board
• Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Advisory Board
• Personnel Council

Advisory board members provide recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners and county departments on a wide range of topics including financial oversight, public safety, community development, healthcare, and library services.
