Tropical Storm Isaias: County to Lock Down Mathers Bridge to Vehicle Traffic Only on Sunday
BREVARD COUNTY, FL. -- The County will lock down Mathers Bridge in the vehicle traffic only position on Sunday, August 2.
The action, currently scheduled for 7 a.m. Sunday is part of County preparations for the arrival of potentially severe weather conditions from Tropical Storm Isaias.
The lock down is needed to protect the bridge from severe damage that could result from high winds. Boaters are asked to move their vessels accordingly.
