BREVARD COUNTY, FL – Join us for our Child Passenger Safety Seminar! This seminar is perfect for new parents or caretakers who want to learn about correct selection, installation, and use of child restraints. Plus, you will learn how child restraints work to protect children. The next seminar will be held from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. on Dec. 19 at the UF/IFAS Extension office in Cocoa and is free to attend.
Mothers in need of a seat will be able to purchase a convertible car seat (can be installed both rear-facing and forward-facing and remains in the car) at a reduced cost at the end of the class! Must present proof of enrollment in WIC, Medicaid, or Florida Access Benefits to receive a seat.
