Youth Day Camp Open for Registration
BREVARD COUNTY, FL. – Navigating the road from youth into adulthood is tricky. How do decide what you want to do? How do you live with strangers and get along? How do you manage your money? To help you be prepared, join us for a four-day short course into adulthood!
Our Adulting: Are You Ready? day camp will cover college and career prep, budgeting, credit and banking, developing healthy relationships, effective communication, and living with others. We’ll also put it all together in a fun simulation of a month in the life of a 25-year-old. Participants will leave camp with an increased knowledge of what it’s like to be an adult and a few goodies to help.
Come join us at the UF/IFAS Extension Office in Cocoa (3695 Lake Drive, Cocoa, FL 32926), as we learn that nobody ever stops learning how to ‘adult’! This camp costs $75 and will run from June 19 to June 22 from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Open to youth ages 15 - 18. Light snacks will be provided.
