BREVARD COUNTY, FL – It does not matter if you have a huge yard or just a balcony, everyone can grow their own nutritious food! Join us to learn how to grow your own vegetables, herbs, fruit, hydroponic lettuce, and more in your own yard or container garden. Participants will also learn strategies for pest control, how to grow transplants from seeds or cuttings, and more! Each ticket includes a notebook, handouts, and a variety of heirloom seeds.
This is a 4-class series that runs from June 19 to July 10 with two class times available each Monday, both have the option to participate in-person or via Zoom. Participants who choose the in-person option will meet at the UF/IFAS Extension Office in Cocoa (3695 Lake Drive, Cocoa, FL 32926). The registration fee is $45.
