BREVARD COUNTY, FL. – Brevard County Fire Rescue is seeking experienced mechanics to support our fire rescue operations.
Brevard County Fire Rescue Equipment Technicians are responsible for maintaining the fire rescue fleet and are required to have a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Applicants must possess experience with gasoline and diesel equipment, with specific practice involving heavy equipment and fire pump mechanics. Brevard County Government offers competitive pay and benefits as well as retirement options through the Florida Retirement System (FRS). Qualified applicants may be eligible for uniforms and boot allowance, after hours and on-call pay, tool reimbursement, paid emergency vehicle training and certification, and hazard pay.
