BREVARD COUNTY, FL. – Brevard County Libraries was recently awarded $7,149.14 of grant funding from the Northeast Florida Library Information Network (NEFLIN) through its Innovation Project program. This NEFLIN program provides funding to its members for new projects or services at their libraries.
The Innovation Project funds will be used to support new and innovative programs hosted at the recently renovated River House, located adjacent to the Catherine Schweinsberg Rood Central Library.
Brevard County Libraries aims to provide a cozy, low-tech space where community members of all ages can connect with each other and learn new skills. Youth and senior reading events, art and music classes, gardening workshops, and fun with fiber arts are just a few of the amazing programs that will be supported by the NEFLIN Innovation Project grant.
