BREVARD COUNTY, FL. – Brevard County Libraries is proud to be promoting its Summer Reading Program. With the theme of “Summer on the Space Coast”, Library staff host exciting programs and activities that encourage our community to keep reading. As summer comes to a close, Brevard County Libraries invites you to continue the fun at their End of Summer Celebration! This free, family-friendly event will be hosted at the Titusville Public Library on July 26 from 10 am – 12 pm. Attendees will be able to enjoy fun activities such as face painting, craft projects, and more.
Brevard County Libraries also have grand prizes for those who participated in their Summer Reading Challenge! Readers aged 17 and under will have the chance to win an Astro Adventurer Kit or a Wings of Fortune monster doll collectible – courtesy of the Eau Gallie Rotary Club. To be eligible, challenge participants need to have earned at least one digital badge and have their reading minutes logged in Beanstack by July 29. Prize winners will be notified by Thursday, July 31.
Community Partner Space Coast Area Transit will also continue their free Read to Ride Program through August 10.
