Join the Brevard County 4-H Market Poultry Project!



BREVARD COUNTY, FL. –The 4-H Market Poultry Project is an exciting 8-month hands-on experience where youth participants will learn to:

  • Raise their own chickens
  • Learn poultry care and showmanship
  • Show their birds to judges
  • Auction them off at the end of the project!

No prior experience? No problem! We’ll guide you every step of the way with informative and fun classes.

Details:

  • Open to youth ages 5–18
  • Cost: $30 per participant (includes 6 chicks) + 4-H registration 
  • Classes held at: UF/IFAS Extension Office, 3695 Lake Drive, Cocoa, FL 32926

Don’t have a coop?
Ask us about our community coop option for families who want to participate but can’t house chickens at home.

Registration is limited and will close on August 22 or until all tickets are sold.
