Emergency Road Closure of Evans Rd. South of Hibiscus Blvd.

MELBOURNE, FL. -- Evans Road is closed south of Hibiscus Blvd for an emergency road repair. The closure is expected to extend through midweek while temporary repairs are deployed. A subsequent closure to make final repairs will also be necessary and details will be shared at a later date. 

Please follow the prior detour routes that were in place during the recent construction project. We will be working to reestablish the prior detour signs to assist drivers. 

The detour routes are as follows:
• Southbound Traffic: Hibiscus Blvd. to Dairy Road to US 192
• Northbound Traffic: US 192 to Dairy Road to Hibiscus Blvd.

Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area, if possible. We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding as we complete these repairs.
