Evans Road South of Hibiscus Blvd. Closed Through November
MELBOURNE, FL. – The closure of Evans Road, south of Hibiscus Blvd., is expected to extend through early November.
After the closure on Friday, Aug. 22, further inspection determined a temporary repair will not be sufficient. The road will be closed an estimated two months until full repairs are completed.
Please follow the prior detour routes that were in place during the recent construction project. Detour signs have been placed to assist drivers.
The detour routes are as follows:
• Southbound Traffic: Hibiscus Blvd. to Dairy Road to US 192
• Northbound Traffic: US 192 to Dairy Road to Hibiscus Blvd.
We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding as we complete these repairs.
