Evans Road Reopened Ahead of Holiday Season
BREVARD COUNTY, FL. -- Evans Road south of Hibiscus Blvd. in Melbourne has reopened following the completion of a major drainage improvement project. The project enhances roadway safety and resiliency by improving stormwater flow and infrastructure along this high-traffic corridor.
While the project extended beyond the original timeline, the additional time allowed Brevard County Public Works to work closely with project vendors to verify the integrity of the improvements and ensure long-term safety for motorists.
Brevard County Public Works appreciates the community’s patience throughout this project and is pleased to announce the full reopening of Evans Road to the traveling public.
