Commissioner Kristine Isnardi

Commissioner Kristine Zonka

Commissioner Kristine Zonka was elected to the Brevard County Board of County Commissioners in November 2016. She represents District Five, which includes areas of Melbourne, West Melbourne, Palm Bay, Indialantic and Melbourne Village.

Originally from Michigan, Zonka moved to Palm Bay in 1999. In 2007, Zonka was elected to the Palm Bay City Council, where she served the citizens for seven years. During her tenure, Zonka was a strong advocate for roads, infrastructure, public safety, and veterans’ issues while promoting less taxation, limited government intrusion, and fiscal transparency.

Zonka holds Doctorate and Master’s degrees in Nurse Practice. She is a certified family nurse practitioner and works part-time for Health First Medical Group. Zonka enjoys spending time with her husband, Milo, and their children.  She also likes serving the community through various organizations that assist seniors, the homeless, and the underserved.

Danielle Stern - Chief of Staff

Born and raised in Melbourne, Florida. Graduated with a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Central Florida. Worked as the Corporate and Convention Sales Representative at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex from 1996-2000. Employed by Brevard County in 2000 in the Storm water Department as the Public Education and Information Officer. Promoted to Communications Director overseeing SCGTV, Brevard County Website and all public relations functions from 2002-2005. Married to Gary Stern and has one son.

Vic Luebker - Director of Community Affairs

Vic Luebker is a highly decorated veteran of the United States Air Force. In his 22-year career, Luebker served all over the world including Bosnia and Iraq. While in Bosnia, he was the Chief Enlisted Adviser responsible for oversight of the Unit Security Plan and the transport of Slobodan Milosevic to the War Crimes Tribunal.

Following his military career, Luebker earned three degrees and received extensive training in corporate communications, leadership development, and non-profit fundraising management. Luebker worked as a development manager for the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation from 2013 through 2016, where he organized numerous profitable fundraisers.

Luebker is an advocate for his community. He has presented to Congress about state and national legislation for issues affecting veterans and their families, coached at-risk youth and worked with local charities on many fundraising events and drives. Luebker’s efforts have helped raise a million dollars for charities across the state, earning him the Central Florida Humanitarian of the Year in 2015.

Janette Roig - Legislative Aide

Janette born in New Jersey and has been a Florida girl since the age of 1. She graduated from Eastern Florida State College with an Associate’s in Arts as well as a degree in medical assisting but took a complete different path to becoming a Legislative Aide in 2018. Janette loves the outdoors, fishing, boating, and spending quality time with her son and family. She has a passion for cooking and loves to see people enjoy the dishes she creates from the heart. Janette is an avid person with a huge personality and sense of humor that enjoys the little things in the life.
