Location: Rotary Park Nature Center, 1899 S Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island, FL 32952
Event Details: Drop in anytime between 2 and 4 p.m. for some nature facts, crafts, games, stories, and more. A different theme each week. Programs may be held indoors or outdoors. Free and fun for all ages!
- Saturday, October 2: Florida Black Bears Learn more about these cool creatures. A perfect follow-up to the Teddy and Friends Day in the Park event!
- Saturday, September 9: Wildflower Seed Bombs It’s almost time to plant wildflowers. It’s easy to start your own wildflower garden with this seed “bomb” craft.
- Saturday, September 16: Bats Halloween is almost here! A perfect time to talk about Florida’s bats and bat houses. Craft and story included.
- Saturday, September 23: Crows Learn about these often misunderstood, highly intelligent birds. Craft and story included.
