The Local Planning Agency (LPA) is a volunteer, unpaid member board appointed by the Board of County Commissioners, and also serves as the Planning and Zoning Board. The LPA serves as the recommending body for the Board of County Commissioners in matters concerning comprehensive planning, zoning, and land development matters. The LPA meets once per month, usually on the third Monday of the month except in June and December. The LPA meetings are open to the public.
