MERRITT ISLAND, FL. – Brevard County Parks and Recreation, Central Area Operations will be hosting a free rain barrel workshop from 1 – 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 30, at Rotary Park Nature Center, 1899 S. Courtenay Pkwy., Merritt Island, FL, 32952.
This cooperative project is being offered by Brevard County’s Department of Natural Resources and is partially funded by the United States Environmental Protection Agency. A speaker from UF-IFAS Agricultural Extension will discuss the proper installation and use of rain barrels. No registration is needed to attend the workshop.
Households wishing to receive a FREE rain barrel with workshop attendance must pre-register. Visit the
