Precautionary Boil Water Notice Issued in Mims Area
MIMS, FL. -- A precautionary boil water notice has been issued for residents of the Mims water service area living on London Town Rd, Kings Cross St, Ben Hogan Way, Arnold Palmer Dr.
A water main break has occurred near London Town Rd, Kings Cross St, Ben Hogan Way, Arnold Palmer Dr, Flintshire, Ivanhoe Ct, and Sheerwood Forest Dr. in the Mims water service area. The repair is being completed.
As a precaution, we advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.
This "precautionary boil water notice" will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink. You will receive another notification at that time.
