Brevard County ADA Grievance

Notice of Accessibility

Thank you for visiting http://www.brevardfl.gov/. Accessibility for visitors to the County website is very important to us. Brevard County is actively working to increase accessibility and usability of the website, and is in the process of implementing many of the available standards and guidelines in order to ensure assistive technology users can access the site.

Brevard County does not discriminate in its programs and/or services on the basis of religion, age, race, color, national origin, gender, marital or parental status, or disability, and complies with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; Title IX Education Amendments of 1972; Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973; and, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990.

In order to further our commitment to nondiscrimination, we will continuously update the website in order to ensure the site conforms to World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Such guidelines detail best practices for ensuring assistive technology users can access the site and also make the site more user-friendly.

Due to Brevard County’s integration with external vendors, areas within the site remain beyond the County’s control. Until the integration with these external vendors is resolved, Brevard County can only achieve a partial level of conformance according to WCAG.

Any individual who believes material on this site is inaccessible or is considered to be a violation of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and/or any other law may file a grievance: (1) online using the “ADA Grievance Form” located at www.BrevardFL.gov/ADAGrievanceForm , or (2) by emailing a written grievance to ADACompliance@brevardfl.gov.
