Public Notice of Funding Availability Fiscal Year 2023-2024 State Housing Initiatives Partnership
Notice is hereby given that the Brevard County Board of County Commissioners through the Housing and Human Services Department has been allocated an estimated $3,955,164 for 2023-2024 and has an estimated $1,574,531.60 in carryforward funds.
We will begin accepting applications, on July 1, 2024, from eligible homeowners for:
Homeownership- Purchase Assistance Homeownership-Limited, Occupied Repairs and Occupied Rehabilitation Homeownership- Demolition/Reconstruction Homeowner-Acquisition Rehabilitation

A Request for Proposals will be issued for the following:
- Homeownership-Acquisition Rehabilitation/New Construction
- Rental-Rehabilitation/New Construction

2024 Request for Proposals for Local Government Contribution for Florida Housing Finance Corporation Programs
The Brevard County Housing and Human Services Department has established an application for developers applying for Florida Housing Finance Corporation tax credits, State Apartment Incentive Loan (SAIL) funds, and/or revenue bonds for a proposed development located in Unincorporated Brevard County and the cities. Proposals will be accepted from an applicable Request for Proposals(RFP) issued by the Florida Housing Finance Corporation and must be received no later than 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2024.
