Fritz VanVolkenburgh
Fritz joined the District 2 staff after managing the Department of Human Resource’s $134 million budget. Prior to that, he was an internal auditor for the Brevard County Clerk of Court and an assistant state attorney for the 18th Judicial Circuit.
Fritz’s private sector experience includes work as a management consultant, a bank officer, an English teacher (in Japan), and a ferryboat captain. Fritz has served as a firefighter/EMT reservist for several years. His outside interests include
athletics, music, reading, boating, and travel.
Regina Weiler
Miss Regina Ayn Weiler, known widely as Rocket, graduated Magna Cum Laude from UCF at 17 with a B.A. in Political Science, then received her Master's degree in Communication Mass Media at 19 from UCF. She received the UCF Legislative Scholar Award &
worked as UCF Legislative Aide to state representatives Rich Workman & Scott Plakon during the 2009 Legislative Session. Miss Weiler also completed the Emergency Management & Security Graduate Certificate Program at UCF. She served County
Commissioner Trudie Infantini as the District 3 Executive Office Manager. Since 2010 she has been an adjunct professor at Eastern Florida State College, teaching Communication. Her outside interests include martial arts, dog rescue, digital art, cosplay,
and writing.
Kika Golan
Kika was born in Valencia, Venezuela, where she earned a degree in Business Administration and International Commerce. In the U.S. since 2000, she has been a resident of Brevard County since 2005. Before working for County Commission District 2, Kika
had experience in private law firms as a paralegal and legal assistant, as well as in the 18th Judicial Circuit Court in Viera as a Court Program Specialist. Kika met her husband of 13 years in the Space Coast, a Chemical Engineer working for NASA,
and together they have a son, currently attending R.L. Stevenson Elementary School.
